How To Apply for Social Security Disability Benefits

  1. You can apply for benefits directly on the social security administration website.

  2. You can walk in to your local social security field office or district office.

  3. You can call your local social security field office or district office. Usually they will give you an appointment to come down to your local social security office and apply in person or they may start your application over the phone.
